YTD, we are sitting at 11.3%... tech seems to be weakening.

Well we were at about 11% YTD but $40,000 worth of Endocyte has now turned into $120,000 which puts us around 17% YTD. I will know more later in the week but definitely feeling, what is the word? WhEEEE!

Looks like about 11.5% overall, which is OK with me in a 55/45 portfolio. Getting close to needing a rebalance, though, since I'm almost to 60/40 now.

When I look at mine, and DW's 401k's (not counting our contributions), we are up 11.63% YTD. I hope this keeps going!

Another month has gone by already. Time to do an update.

I looked back at my earlier posts, and the numbers were as follows.

1/31: 2.40%
2/10: 3.64%
2/15: 4.30%
2/21: 5.30%
2/28: 5.00%
3/01: 6.10%
3/31: 5.49%
6/30: 7.90%
7/29: 11.3%
8/31: 13.40%

Another month, another higher watermark for the portfolio. Would have been even better, if it were not for the call options that caused me to "lose" some good stocks at below current market values.

9/30: 15.5% YTD...
As of today, 10/31, drum roll please...

It's 18.6% YTD.

Semiconductor sector went absolutely nuts. Biotechs were lousy. Energy was flat. Emerging and international were OK. Some big old stalwarts did surprisingly well, like Walmart, Caterpillar, 3M.

Overall, nothing to complain about.

PS. Stock AA crept up to 72% again.

12.7% YTD all-in, spend adjusted. Except for May, every time I checked this year, it had gone up from the last check. What a deal! Might as well celebrate while we can

Slightly better than my benchmark which is 10.53% YTD.
Found an error in last month's numbers... should have been 10.86% rather than 10.64%.

YTD through 10/31 = 12.10% Benchmark is at 11.87%

For 2017 so far:
10/31/1712.10%
09/30/1710.86%
08/31/179.53%
07/31/179.16%
06/30/177.45%
05/31/176.89%
04/30/175.59%
03/31/174.53%
02/28/173.82%
01/31/171.78%

I like the pattern... let's keep it up.

Up to 12.74% . I really needed this as I approach my planned mid to late 2018 ER target. I have stayed aggressive relatively speaking because I need to catch the wave of any bull market to reach my nestegg milestone to pull the trigger.

As of today 2017 has been a great year. 💰

In my Roth-IRA, added Vanguard Global Wellington Fund Investor Shares to the portfolio. Will be consolidating international value into that at the end of year, and probably qualify for Admiral shares. Needed something more diversified for next 2 years of Roth contributions.
