ACA plan transitioning to Medicare in 022

Currently shopping the Marketplace for an ACA plan for 2022. Will transition to Medicare in October for myself however DW will have to remain with ACA plan. Does anyone out there have experience out there with this transition. Will my wife continue on the same ACA plan for remainder of the year albeit at half the premium and tax credit? Thx in advance.

We are going through this now. Just met with a Florida Blue Medicare/ACA rep. I go on Medicare in January but we went ahead and renewed ACA for 2022 for the both of us. I am to call on December 31st and get myself removed and tell them I'm going on to Medicare. The price for the ACA will then go down to reflect one of us being removed. It will not go down to half. Somewhat above half of the original monthly amount.
