Yaa! I can afford to eat. Heck I might even open up a bottle of wine.

We want so much for the stock market downturn to be over, that it is difficult to think that it is not. It is difficult not to celebrate and sigh with relief. It is going to be even more difficult next week if we return to a rapidly sinking market again.

I really hope that instead, this is the beginning of recovery.

Heck, at this point I'd seriously take roughly flatline for a year or two, hopefully to build a base for eventual recovery. I'd be worried at this point that a sharp rally would be a head fake or a dead cat bounce. In any event, I've had enough meltdown.
