Looks like it mimics the MSCI Prime Markets 750, ETF is VV. The MSCI US Prime Market 750 Index represents the aggregation of the Large Cap 300 and the Mid Cap 450 Indices.

Re: Anyone pick up on new(est) Vanguard index fund

Hi Wildcat,

Actually, Vanguard's newest fund is a fund of managed funds
called "diversified equity". It holds 5 of the same funds held
by Vanguard's "Star" fund.

I have held the "large cap" fund in my coffeehouse IRA almost
since it was first launched in January, 2004.

Cheers,

Charlie

Charlie -

Thanks for the correction and I like the large cap fund as well. I think I would prefer it over the S&P 500.
