Argentina default hours away
Anybody looking to buy European style apartment in Buenos Aires or vineyard in Mendosa or ski lodge in Bariloche?
Last time Argentina defaulted in 2001 one could buy Real Estates in Paris of South America at extremely extremely cheap prices.
I would think spending winters in Argentina could be better then in Mexico.

I was in BA just a couple weeks or so after they unpegged. You could eat like a king in the best restaurants for not much money. Wine was a great deal.

I would be more interested in a flat in Mendoza. Closer to the wine.

Friends just returned from BA, They thought it was run-down and graffiti-filled. They were there for Argentine Tango lessons.

So San Miguel de Allende in Mexico is much better choice for spending winters? You seem to be somewhere in Mexico.....
