Average Spending in Retirement

I don't know if this really works but we will be living in a 1000sq ft. barnaminium , from the outside it looks like a metal building garage and the inside is a house . kept the garage door on with 11 acres in Texas and we pay a whopping 950.00 yearly .

Barndominiums can be pretty inexpensive to build. We live in one. 40' by 60' with 12' eaves and a 14' peak. It was very easy to assemble. Every piece was pre-cut to the design, every hole was pre-drilled. All I had to do was bolt the pieces together.

I sprayed 2" of foam insulation on the walls and ceiling, then hung 9" of fiberglass batting over that, and wood-grain paneling with trim.

:)

Never heard of a barndominium, off to do some online research.

I actually had $2500 a month coming in 2016 when I retired. Then in January of 2017 I had $2700 a month coming in, but one of my income vehicles hit a big snag. So I took a dip in monthly income. But I recovered, and now I am at $2750 a month income.:)
