$5 billion preferred with 10% coupon and warrants with a 115 strike price. I always like it when the Oracle of Omaha starts dabbling in times of distress. Can the worst be behind us? Probably not yet but he doesn't jump in at the beginning either I would imagine.

this time he's just settling for a yearly $500 million dividend check. i think it pretty much confirms that the bailout will happen

buffet will probably send $50 million in campain donations to his democrat friends and that will be the end of it. we'll get a bailout and increased regulation
