Haha wins some and loses some, but I never sit around passively waiting for the hurricane to blow itself out. And I am getting close to 25 years of successful, pensionless retirement.

So parroting some academic theory doesn't really mean much to me.

Which puts you in the 20% of investors who will beat passive indexing . I have neither the time, skill or luck to play that game so I'm content to be in the 80th percentile. And if I'm wrong I can blame it all on Malkiel, Bogle and Bernstein...oh and Buffet too
