Callan Periodic Table 2019

I don't think this has been posted yet. It's a favorite bit of financial trivia for me to reinforce the importance of diversification. Apparently Callan is celebrating the 20th anniversary of this table. There is some extra detail about the creation of the table back on their website at callan.com. I knew there were many variations on the table, but I had never seen the monthly version of the main table which might be interesting for the folks that like to track performance during the year.

The yearly chart reminds me of how lousy the market return was in 2015, and 2018.

Interesting that Lg Cap Equities only beat Int'l Dev. Equities 11 of the 20 years.
