Bought I bonds at local BOA. Application paperwork only mentions a 30K/ssn limit and the application shows buyer can order 10K bonds. So I'll see if the Treasury will honor the application, bounce the sale or just send me a warning letter as they have done with others.

I thought about it for a few minutes...but since I already have $39.5k in I-bonds from 00/01 with an average fixed rate of 3.326%, I opted to put the money in Munis and a few ETFs and REITs.
Still can't believe that the new fixed is 0.00% (well, I can understand why they did it...but it's just funny looking on the I-bond webpage to see 0.00%. Kind of like seeing the 90-day T-bill auction rate results at 1.00% +/- a few years ago.
