EE Bond Help

So, we found some series EE bonds that DW owns, issued 6/84 and 12/89.

How do I determine if these are now worth face value, or some other amount?

If she decides to redeem them now, how does she go about it?

Go to US Treasury's calculator. You can enter data for each bond and build a schedule for all the bonds she has to show current value including all interest.

Her bank should be happy to redeem them for her and provide a schedule of interest paid for tax purposes. At year end they would also send a 1099.
