Everyone can relax, it wasnt a crash

breaking news - national news - world news -

It wasnt a crash, it was just a 'sell off'.

Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful. Just another form of "buy low, sell high" for those who have trouble with things. This rule is not universal. Do not buy a 1973 Pinto because everyone else is afraid of it.

Cool, I was a little worried. But if it's on the internet, it must be so.

Hmmmm! Worst % loss in a week in the entire 112 history of the Dow and it wasn't a crash?

Oh wait - the DOW ONLY went down 18.1% this week, so even though that is the worst weekly drop EVER, since it took 5 days to do it's not a crash! Oh 22 percent over 8 days - EVERY SINGLE DAY DOWN, but not fast enough - not a crash.

FWIW - by the end of the article several pundits say, yes, it was a crash.

It's not a crash in the same way that driving a Jetta into a brick wall at 60 m.p.h. is just a sudden stop.

It wasn't a crash! It was a shorts' rally!
