We moderators don't know all our powers (well, at least I don't), and this might be one of the differences. When I click on the "Edit Poll" link, here's what I get (* to * with my comments in the <>):
*
Option 6: (Add Option) <This allows me to add as many more choices as I want.>
Poll Options: (_) Maximum votes per user. <I think this block turns the one-choice radio buttons to multiple-choice checkboxes.>
Run the poll for (_) days. (leave blank for no limit)
Allow user to change vote.
Show the poll's results to anyone.
Only show the results after someone has voted.
Only show the results after the poll has expired.
Reset Vote Count: Check this if you want to reset all vote counts to 0.

Dory, BMJ, are users seeing different poll options than moderators & admins? Is there a different way for the poll's originator go back and edit it after they set it up?
