Fitbit Financier according to the test. I do not see that an FA would be of help to me either.

Did anyone get a result that didn't suggest using a FA?

Those 6 financial personality types remind me of how astrological personality descriptions are written. All we need now to take this to the next level is to add a time variable.

Hoarders be careful - as April approaches negative vibes all around you.
Fitbiters - remember, in January you will feel the need to update your yearly goals session.

My guess is that Fitbitters and hoarders will predominate in this forum, and that is certainly borne out by the responses so far.

Not so far-fetched.

Financial Astrology

Tellingly, large firms such as J. P. Morgan, refuse to take a stance for or against the practice, though the founder of the bank, John Pierpont Morgan, had a personal astrologer on staff, and he was attributed as saying "Millionaires don't use astrologers, but billionaires do."

inconclusive, but pretty strongly and evenly fitbit and hoarder. All the finance types I read about would benefit from a financial advisor. It said so, so must be so.

One of the questions "When it comes to spending money on myself, I do so “because I am worth it”

What does that even mean I have heard people say "Buy it; you deserve it" and such, but I never understood this concept...

Uh oh, you know what they call those that don't meet the criteria for any single faction but have some alignment with all the categories? Divergents. More here and here. Be careful, and don't trust anyone.

Hoarder by a nose over Fitbit Financier.

I do have a lot more cash in the bank that the various Megacorp financial advisors and online calculators say I need to have, but I have my reasons and I'm fine with it.

I seem to have a balance among Hoarder, Cash Splasher and the Social spender type. I guess I like to have lots of money tucked away, for when something really nice to buy comes along.

I failed the test. I couldn't find any questions to answer.

I guess this might be because I refused to accept cookies or maybe because I refused to disable my adblocker. Or maybe I am just dumb as a rock.

Reading the comments after the non-test, I noticed that some feel like this test is just a way to push all test takers to get a financial planner.

No need to subscribe but I can see it would be easy to miss the link. Here it is: https://ig.ft.com/sites/quiz/psychology-of-money/

That doesn't seem to lead to a quiz. Here's what I see at that link.
