Florida Blue Service Centers

I saw the Florida Blue CEO on TV this morning. He said they are opening/have opened (?) hundreds of service centers where people can walk in and talk to a human, face-to-face, about policies and claims issues. Addressing claims issues face-to-face? This is revolutionary!

He said they had started working on all this prior to ACA because they foresaw the health insurance market becoming much more retail oriented. He also said they are rolling out tons of educational (and sales?) events around the state of Florida.

Has anyone seen or used one of these centers?

Interesting. Thanks for that. Here's the webpage Your Local Health & Wellness Center | The Florida Blue Center

BCBS is definitely going after the individual marketplace. They also signed up for the multistate plan that was announced yesterday. Too bad it won't be available in Florida this year.
