got a question

Hello I am new to this forum. I own a fund called HFLIX and I would like to know if anyone has any information to share with me about this fund. I know the stock market has taken a beating lately. I'm worried about the exposure if any this fund has to the subprime woes affecting the financial sector. Thank You, any information would be greatly appreciated.

In one word: Run.

In more than one word: I wouldnt touch this fund with a custom made 11 foot pole.

Why, CFB. Expenses or management strategy?

Primarily the investment focus on low quality junk bonds, which I think have another downleg or two, and...

"The Fund seeks to provide high level of current income. The Fund invests primarily in Senior Floating Rate loans, which are below-investment grade variable or floating rate loans commonly made by banks to corporations."

Pretty much a 1-2 punch in this market.

If that doesnt have your hair standing on end, go look at the top holdings and what they do for a living.

I guess the good question is "What was the reason for buying the fund". What investment component was the OP trying to fulfill?
