As the title suggests, is it worth developing a set of guidelines perhaps related to age of ER (and/or SO,Spouse,etc.)?
e.g.
Age Rule/Event to consider or plan for
62 - Earliest Soc.Sec. entitlement eligibility 75%?
65 - Earliest Medicare Eligibility
65/66 - Earliest Full Soc.Sec. Eligiblity 100%
70 - Enhanced Soc.Sec. Eligiblity 125%?
70.5 - Required Minimum Distribution rules for withdrawals from Tax deffered Retirement Accounts
Above come immediately to mind but I am sure there are many more like Spousal benefit or Widow benefit, etc.
