Health insurance (non-pensioner)

What do most of you, who are retired, do for health insurance?

I am guessing most of you use high deductible insurance.

Hi, RW. This is one of the most highly discussed topics on the board. You might browse the Health and Early Retirement forum, or do a search on "health insurance" by clicking on the Search button.

Doubt you'll find a consensus, other than that of frustration for those who FIRE before age 65.

Re: Health insurance (non-pensioner)

I would have had to stay 5 more years - to get bennies. I jumped ship and went w/ $5000 deductible insurance w/ Aetna - few worries....lots of freedom!
