Home insurance

Hello all

Just a couple nights ago I had some things stolen from my garage. Golf clubs, 2 mountain bikes and some rollerblades were stolen. All told about $3000 in original value. I have made a claim with insurance and after I submit my receipts I will get reimbursed for all that less my deductable of $500. I also had a $80 annual credit for being claim free - I'm not sure how long it will take to reset that...at least a few years I'm sure.

Do these claims normally increase your premium significantly? I pay a little over $500 a year in premiums for my home insurance. What kind of increase can I expect?
