Rejection Code: FD-32-R0000-204 Update and Resubmit Your Federal Return
Problem: Your return was rejected because of a problem with our e-filing process. We apologize for this inconvenience. The problem has been identified and will be corrected with an update available for Windows operating systems by end of day Friday, Feb. 14 and for MAC operating systems by end of day Thursday, Feb. 20 .
Solution: Update your Federal program and follow the steps to e-file your return again.
Follow these steps to fix the issue: 1.Go to the Tools menu and choose Update the Program . 2.Follow the steps to download and install the update for the Federal program. 3.Once you've installed the update, click the Forms menu and choose Open Forms . 4.Scroll down to Form 8995 and open the form to review your entries. Do this for any 8995 series applicable to your return, like 8995-A, 8995-A Schedule A, C, and/or D. 5.When you complete your review, click Close Form , then close the window. 6.Go to the File menu and choose Filing Options . 7.Follow the steps to e-file your return again.
