They work much better if you take 2-3, and wash 'em down with a few beers.
Just trying to help...

1969 Lincoln town car with a 460. If you get in an accident, you'd have time to jump out and make it to the curb before anything happened within 6' of ya.

[quote=Notmuchlonger;705177]We were in a Hyundai Elantra. I dont know its crash rating off hand. The next car Im going to pay attention to the crash ratings. Since that was an eye opener yesterday./quote]
I bought an Elantra 4 months ago. I forget weather the crash results were 4 or 5 star, but it was one of the two. The Elantra and most cars these days come with side curtain airbags standard. I think my Elantra has 6 airbags.

Wow! Glad you are OK, and that you were wearing your seatbelt.

Did the Altima have the CVT transmission? If so, did you like it?

It drove really nice and was very smooth. Visibility was great and it had a nice amount of pickup. We would have considered getting the 6 if it did not require premium fuel. The 4 though has plenty of power though. As for the cvt you could not tell when the car was shifting it was nice.
I hate to get excited about a car because it might cloud my negotiating judgment We went and drove a Camry and Sonata afterward. They didn't appeal to use as much as the Altima. I did think for the price and features the Sonata was a nice car.
Its really on the edge of what we want to spend right now. Their packages seem to be a bit expensive. This might be one case where we spend a bit more than we like.
