An interesting article that looks at studies that purport to show that common ownership - ie. ownership in multiple companies in an industry by one entity - can lead to lack of competition among companies.
Lately, I've decided that I just don't have the time and resources to analyze these issues and since they don't impact me right away - I have no opinion.
Nonetheless, it makes for interesting reading and its worth keeping an eye on the development.
