My 11 years old twin boys want to learn about investing. I tried to explain them but I think It'll be more beneficial for them if there is a kid friendly book which can explain them basics. Please let me know how you started with your kids, any tips and suggestions on the books.
My daughter is in second year of college and I paid her($50..) to write a book report on "The Millionaire Next Door"....One way to force her to read a book. Result was that she now has Roth IRA account and 7K invested in Index fund by working part time. I match half of what she earns to encourage her which has worked well so far!
By the way, is there any minimum age requirement for kids to start working? I want to open Roth IRA for them.
