Inheriting I-Bonds

I have I-Bonds that I hope to leave to our only child..Some are on line in treasury direct and others are hard copy.. How can I be sure she will be able to redeem those in treasury direct?
 
Go to the account at treasury direct and assign them to: Transfer on Death. That's what I did.
 
You may also want to consider placing your existing hard copy Ibonds into Treasury Direct. We did that several years ago and it sure is convenient to see everything in one place. The transferred Ibonds take a few more button clicks to see them online but everything is in one account and for us it beats having to keep track of the paper copies.

I will look into that..It just makes me nervous..I'm afraid I'll screw it up..
