Intro and decumulation question

Lurker from way back when cute fluffy bunny and the bacon flow chart were a big thing.

Still love bacon, now closer to FIRE.

I'm 47, SO 51. SO essentially retired. I have a sabbatical in 2015/16. Have to return for 1 year after sabbatical. Considering going part time (60%) indefinitely or phased retirement (decreasing 20% per year over 5 years) on my return. Want the option of quitting entirely--hence the portfolio spend down question.

We have 25x excluding SS, no debt/pensions/annuities/sugar daddies. 65/35 fixed. Unfortunately, only 20% of the portfolio is after tax (~5x, ~1x in cash). We have an additional 1.5x in I-bonds that I would like to add to while working to self insure any LTC we might need or as longevity insurance.

I will be able to save 1-1.5x per year for the next 3 years, half in pre-tax, half post.

1. For the post tax savings, I'm inclined to put this in CDs and I-bonds, preparing for RE as early as 2017/18. Although, 2020-22 may be more likely.

2. In spend down, what strategies do you suggest? Hoping to use those as a starting point for modeling draw
down (will fidelity RIP let me do this?)

Thanks in advance. And many thanks for all the education along the way.
