Long term life care insurance

Any opinions? My Mom's financial advisor is recommending that she get this. It is $2500 a year. My Father always dealt with the finances, unfortunately he passed away last year. She called me and asked if she should get it. I have no idea. She is 60 yrs old, retired, in great health, and is well off financially.
