I made ham stock today and now the house smells strongly of ham and thyme. It’s snowing here (between Tacoma and Olympia) too. Second snowfall of the year!

All the best to you and yours, as well!

Merry Christmas!

We were suppose to go to some friend's house for Christmas Eve dinner, it's always a lot of fun there. However, we have had a mix of snow and ice all day today, so we couldn't do the 45 minute drive.

Tomorrow we will have 15 friends over for Christmas dinner, we will eat around 3pm. These friends, like us, don't have family in the area.

I wish you all a happy, healthy 2018!

Merry Christmas everyone. We’ve ended up with a white Christmas here too, and we’ll enjoy a nice quiet Christmas at home (after decades of hectic holiday travel to be with other family, all grown now except one grand-niece). Peace.

It's wonderful you are doing this. I had to spend a couple of Christmas holidays away from families and I absolutely hated it. It would have been nice to have a friend like you :-)

The card/short video is adorable KCowan. I'll bet though that you are in PVR at this moment and not inside that cozy bangalow😎🏝🌴

Happy holidays to all.

Merry Christmas! God Bless us, everyone. We are expected to get a foot of snow today here in S. Vermont. Wow!

Merry Christmas!

No snow here but it is cold and windy. In a couple of hours we will leave on a 10-minute journey to SIL's house where we'll sit down with family for a huge feast.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Dry and 50 degrees here this last few days, much to the delight of our visitors from Southern California. It looks like it will get colder but no forecast for snow which means they should have an easy drive to Edinburgh to visit an aunt & uncle plus cousins.

Merry Christmas to all! [emoji319]Feels wintry here in So CA - in the 40’s now and only getting up to 64 today. Entertained our best friends last night - lobster cocktail, rack of lamb, Dijon potatoes, steamed asparagus and homemade lemon cheesecake! Plus nice Champagne & red wine.

Going to snuggle up with DH and our dog today. We’ll open presents, watch NFL football and enjoy leftovers. We had reservations for a nice meal out but decided to cancel and stay warm inside!
