I'm curious if anyone has tried this yet:
mint.com
Is a new site that supposedly will automatically aggregate your financial information into a unified view, pulling data over the web, so you can see all your transactions categorized and in one place. For free.
The main problem that I've seen with similar products in the past is that they can't reconcile transfers between accounts very well. E.g. If I pay a $1000 credit card bill from checking then that looks like I spent $1000 out of checking as well as the $1000 I spent in the credit card for an incorrect total of $2000 spending. Ideally it should realize that the the two transactions (payment made from checking, and payment received on the card) are just one transfer, but most software doesn't do this.
