A Big Hello to All...
The DW has been buying into Pimco total return bond fund for many years in her 401K. We wanted our bonds in tax advantaged accounts so that was the best one available. Never liked the $ .85 % expense ratio but had to live with it. Now for the first time the 401k has a Vanguard short term bond index fund with $ .09 % ER which I like... But as I know are not apples for apples comparison. So what say you guys, do we sell pimco and buy short term, stop buying pimco and just buy short term from now on or split it and buy both funds? Decisions Decisions !!! With Bill Gross gone and bonds down somewhat... Got me wondering which way is best? I'm retired and the DW can walk when she is ready...
