Numbers 19-22 Financials Gone

Three more Financial Institutions (Banks) gone. Wonder what will be announced this weekend or on Monday relative to C (Citi)? Second Link is some CITI information (again that phrase "Too Big to Fail".

Regulators close down 3 more banks, bringing total to 22 - Nov. 21, 2008

There also are a number of banks that are purchased for nothing with the fed pushing the sale and sometimes even paying the costs of the sale for the purchaser. These transactions are not announced.

I think we lost something like 1,500 S&L's during the last go around . . . things are just getting started.
