Overseas medical insurance

A short time ago there was a thread and people suggested companies that they use(d) for medical insurance while working (or traveling) overseas. My husband, a contractor, will be overseas for 2-3 months. He used to be covered by his company, but since retiring he is not. He’s on Medicare and they do not cover you outside the country. I couldn’t find that thread, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Medicare supplements F and G, for sure cover 80% of emergencies up to $50,000 lifetime. Squaremouth is one source for travel insurance.

You can look up rates for medical only, or comprehensive on InsureMyTrip.com.

Thank you for the info on the supplemental plan. That’s great news. I’ll call them and get details. He has AARP Plan G.
