PSA: Give Your Retirement Income a Boost (SPIA)

We've had plenty of discussions regarding the merits (or lack thereof) of immediate annuities, this thread isn't meant to replow that ground (tempting as I may be, self included).

It's a little dated, but it's a very good concise article explaining the mechanics of integrating a SPIA in a retirement income plan. Good discussion about pros and cons of annuities, managing the remaining portfolio and other factors & considerations. And the example includes Soc Sec income. Just thought it might be useful to some readers here. It's only 8 pages, easy-peasy...
