Rating banks, credit unions, cd's, etc.: how to find yours out

Since I have discovered that even banking/credit union employees haven't any idea how to check ratings of their particular establishment, I figure some of the good folks here don't either. So, here are some sites to help:

bauerfinancial.com (punch in your State and see)

You can also use bankrate.com, but bauerfinancial.com to me is best.

It is "Safe and Sound" site and goes by the name of the Bank or CU.
