Reached my goal
I wanted to brag about reaching my goal but couldn't think of anyone to brag to without incurring unintended ill will etc. I received my cash out of holiday and vacation hours not used. It put me over the 1mm mark! (home equity not included)
You guys understand! Having 1mm in cash/stocks etc. is not that unusual on this board.

Achiever I've heard that too!
Thanks want2retire.
I had to put up with coworkers making comments about my cheapness over the years. Meanwhile I'm retired and they are still working!

Congratulations! The stats put you in a relatively small strata of boomers, to have saved a cool million. It also sounds like you did it the old-fashioned way. I always felt that I was helping my partners who had to have a benz or bmw feel good about themselves when I parked my hondas and suburus in the firm's deck (they're still there, most of them, the partners).

Doesn't anyone screen the people who post on this board! I thought you had to have at least $5 mil. to be here! (not that I do)
----------------------
Congrats - the second mill is easier (not that I'm there)

Well done.
Now don't get discouraged as the market wobbles - you'll cross that same line a few more times (in both directions) before sustained gains put you out of reach once and for all!

Congrats! Wish they had one of those smiley faces that takes its hat off and I'd plant it right here. That is quite an accomplishment and you deserve to crow about it. Everyone here is celebrating with you!

Enjoy. Savor. Think about it. Celebrate. Scream. Dance. In general, just throw yourself into some irrational exhuberance!
Start working on your second million.
Then scream, dance, and irrationally exhuberate somemore.

Congrats! A major accomplishment, both financial and psychological.
