On the contrary, NYCity Police and Fire make a fraction of the Nassau and Suffolk Police.
The NYPD have a much more difficult job than Nassau and Suffolk.
In most cases this is a country club out here.
That's one of the reasons Nassau taxes are so freakin high. I don't see how anyone with less than $3 million, could ER and continue to live there.

Yup. Town of Hempstead is the only place I know of where well paid workers come to your house to collect garbage 3x a week. Then people wonder why their taxes are high.

Amazing that Town of Hempstead is in Nassau County.
No problem with Civil Servants getting a Pension.
It's just in Nassau County they make more than the people they serve.
