Forgot about the disc need. That sounds like a price you deserve today.

Newegg has 50% off the CD [see skipro 33 post below] versions of H&R Block Deluxe ($17.49) and Deluxe+State ($22.49) with free shipping. Use the promo codes on the product page to get the discount.

Just bought TT yesterday and downloaded it.... No special deal but I wanted to get started... Same as the past few years, some areas aren't finished yet (e.g. IRA/401k distributions)....

Note that's the code for the Deluxe+State version. Code for Deluxe version is 23BKFCYM329.

Thanks, good deal just ordered! BTW, Newegg also has McAfee Total Protection for 5 devices, 1 year for $19.99 after promo code discount of $10.

The deluxe/state edition is not a CD. It's a physical card mailed with a code you enter into a website.
I didn't try the other link.

I did order the deluxe/state though as I do not have a CD drive on my laptop. Or any other computer for that matter.

Thanks!

This is what they will send me;

Slightly silly they will mail a card.

Either way is fine with me, as I'll download the software and save it, so I have it in future years. Might even burn it to CD, but getting away from that as they take up so much space.

Nope, only for Deluxe and Deluxe+State. Buy Deluxe, it's less than Basic!

Looks like Amazon isn't the go-to for H&R Block Deluxe without State version this year. They have them but are not priced as low as last year. H&R Block is offering a 35% off discount on their site (through a special link see below) - because the pricing is buried deep in their site. Also if you end up buying a version costing $30 or more and use an AMEX card, Amex offers a $10 rebate (you need to add the rebate offer to your Amex card).

35% off good til Monday. Amex rebate good until January 31.

So my price with the 35% off before state sales tax was $22.72. If you need state, it's $10 more.

https://www.wsj.com/coupons/hrblock Click on the selection bar to the right to get to the web page.

I just checked, the newegg deal is back on! This time it is the download, not the 'physical key' version, but I don't see what the difference really is. The out of stock version snail mails you the key, this version emails you the key.

All you needed to do was scroll down the original link to the bottom. There is a button for the 'digital delivery' version. I'm attaching the link to this digital version.
