Twelve Days Of Christmas Inflation Index

Report shows '12 Days of Christmas' cost up 4.1% in '07 - Nov. 26, 2007

Christmas carol index says inflation is 4% over last year. Guess we might have to drop the eight maids a milking if we're to afford the five golden rings.

Too bad, my DH was looking forward to the 8 maids under the tree this year.

Perhaps it's all for the best. He might not have been very pleased by this year's "hedonic adjustments".

Besides most of the inflation to the index undoubtedly came from the five go-old rings.
