Vanguard Review Completed

I just finished going over my Vanguard Investment Review. I'm looking at investing cash out retirement funds and reallocating 401K funds to balance. The mix will be 60/40.

The planner and I had similar outlooks and strategy. With a 40 year horizon the plan on their calculator showed 100% sucess with the original amount intact under the worst case senario. Best case showed 10X the initial investment at the end of 40 years, and the average scenario was 4X. Their reasonable rate of take per year was 40% more than I want.

Firecal also showed 100% success at a higher take rate than I need. In 4 years when the mortgage is paid off, expenses will drop about 40%.

I am begining to feel as if I will be okay. Not working has got to be the best thing I ever did.

But if you hadn't worked, you would not be where you are at today.
