YTD 401K growth at ".01%" Ha.

Wow--just checked my 401K performance as of 10/14/14 and it said .01%. I'm about 63% equity/33% cash-bonds/4% diversified real asset now.

Maybe this is a broken record but not the best YTD results! Two months ago I was at about 4.5% YTD growth.

This does not include my contributions. Guess I'm buying stock cheap huh

Buffet has always preached: "if you cannot tolerate a 50% drop in value , for up to 10 years, you shouldn't be in stocks " . I don't think we are headed there.

Good quote. I kept the faith and never sold in the 2009 downturn and plan to keep the strategy this time. I'm also not eligible for ER from megacorp for 1 more yr.
