I tried that after my former wife flew the coupe. But, no gal ever came by to give me a ride.

There actually was a girl there in a flatbed Ford. But she didn’t bother slowing down to take a look at me. But DW was right there with me so it all worked out for the best.

These kinds of trips are so fun. The loosely scheduled, relaxing, go along as you please road trip. Love doing them. Love reading about others. It is definitely a blessing of retirement.

Keep those stories coming, it is encouraging for those of us still in the grind. DW and I have traveled WA, OR, ID, CA with our diesel trucks and 5th wheels. We travel with our dogs so the trailer is the ticket for comfortable living.
