Inspired by this post https://www.early-retirement.org/for...ml#post2939046, the question is "Are you actually the happiest retiree here."

I voted "I'm not W2R, but I think I'm the happiest one".

I have been blessed in life with so much, from my bring up, to my career, to my health and family.
Money and earthly things are just secondary to happiness in life. Being FI makes it easier now, but money still comes in second.

I find this board to be an oasis of happiness in a desert of online discontent. And that makes me very happy.

I'm pretty darn happy but not sure about "happiest"! Other than the market, things just keep getting better! (The poll options made me happier too! Got a few laughs!)

Some days yes, some days no.

Checked my happiness meter this morning. Not sure how that compares to others here.

This poll made me happy!

There are so many places to find happiness, i.e. in nature, pets, family, faith, beauty, art, music, entertainment, etc. and - I really, really, enjoy seeing the happiness of other people.

I do appreciate when people on this board share their happy moments/ events!

It's really uplifting to see all the happy people posting on this thread! And who knows, maybe I'm not the happiest though I sure feel like it.

Absolutely. Gratitude and doing random acts of kindness make me the most happy.

I am assuming that I missed a post by W2R about being happy, but I see that there are two votes for "I am W2R". That makes me laugh, which does make me happy!

Happy, blessed, and thankful!

And you all have helped with that, I learn something new here everyday, and enjoy jokes, laughter, stories, pictures, etc that you share.

Comparing yourself to others is a good way to make yourself unhappy.

I don't get super happy or super sad. At the end of most days, I'm content with my life.
