Class 2017 Reunion

Just checking in after 3 years. The highlights:
-lived a year in Spain after retiring on the Mediterranean Coast in Sitges. it was beautiful but kids I wanted to come back to the USA to finish off high school and to take care of an ailing MIL.
-settled in north, central FL in Ga in a sleepy college town. nice and quiet. beaches an hour and a half away, DW's family and my adult children near by. good to go.
-for fun, DW discovered travel has become our favorite sport. had some big trips overseas planned but the pandemic put it on ice for now. we subbed a lot of more driving trips and beach excursions to make it up.
-financially, we are a head of where we started in investments inspite of making $100k+ down payment for home purchase and buying 3 cars. financials are smooth sailing
-overall i took to RE like a baby seal to water [emoji23] my high expectations were fully realized

just wondering how everyone else is faring if you care to share.
