Dinghy cruising

Have a Hobie Cat. Even more exposed than a dinghy and we love it. For sure I just tell people I have a sailboat. ;)

Hobie Cats are great fun!

Are you familiar with Ida Little's book? She has always been a big fan of small catamarans.

No I hadn't seen that Milton thank you. We are lucky enough to have a cottage on Lake Huron so are able to pull the Hobie up on shore in secluded places and the many islands to lunch or camp. Great fun.

Some might consider our 27 Ft Albin a ‘dinghy’, next to these other boats. We have been living on her for almost 6 months now, doing the ICW from Md - Keys and now on our way back home.IMG_1987.JPG

Here's a nice dinghy cruising photo:

Complete trip narrative is at Newfoundland Cruise. I've cruised around Labrador, and circumnavigated Newfoundland, though not in a dinghy. Like Hawaii, a beautiful place to sail.

weshallsee123, I am unfamiliar with Danas, but from what I can see on the 'net they look very nice!

Are you a member of the OCC? Good bunch of people.

May be of some guidance: Hitch-Hiking on a Yacht.
Title alone of this trip will make for a good read
