A friend just posted a picture of Route 6A in our town midway between the Cape Cod Canal and Provincetown. It was empty. He captioned it, "No-Left-Turn Season 2017 is official over."
Between Labor Day and late October is my favorite time of the year on Cape Cod. The weather is beautiful, the nights are cool, the skies are usually blue, and you don't need a town sticker to park at the beaches.
