When do you move to your new town?

I moved on 5 October, still getting settled in.

We moved from NJ to Denver earlier this year after living in various parts of NJ (it is small) for 25 years, 15 of them in the last town.

We feel invigorated by the move. Exploring a new city has been fun. We are making new friends and getting out of our comfort zone & doing stuff.

I highly recommend meetup.com. You may find a group of like minded people in your new town. Don't give up if the first few don't fit your personality.

So far, are you glad you moved?

Ha

Yes, very happy with the move. I went from a town of 1500 people to an area with about 50,000 so there's much more to do; I have relatives in the area and that is very nice to have. Where I was it was a 6 hour drive to the nearest family members.
