Its beautiful.

CT, how rough is the water there? Likely a problem for the seasick-prone?

Re: Hubbard Glacier - Photo

Beautiful pictures. One problem, no images of kayaks.

yakers, still at work, dreaming of great places to paddle.

CT, do a few laps in that tepid water. ;)

By the way, great photo.

Re: Hubbard Glacier - Photo

CT, how do you deal with the seasickness? Is it just a day or so, or have you been sick the whole time? I'd like to try a cruise, but the thought of being sick for a week is more than I can handle.

Brewer,

I am taking the drug Meclizine, however when the sea really gets rough, I feel a bit ill.

Lot of people feel a bit nauseous when first taking mescaline. :D

Oops! wrong drug. :)

I definitely need to go to Alaska one of these days. I use the patch for seasickness and have not been seasick since using it.

This is my first post after monitoring this site for a couple months now. DW and I Took this trip fist week in July 2005, and I had a blast. Ship was a bit small though and we enjoyed our Royal Caribbean cruise more. Holland America was not quite up to par on this trip. We went from Seward to Sitka, Juneau, and Ketchikan and ended up in Vancouver. Sea was a bit rough when we were out to sea and not in the inside passage.
