The guy who saved the victim is from Victoria, about 20 miles from my little town. Pretty brave on his part, don't you think?

Attacks are pretty rare over there aren't they? At my "local" (2 hours away!) surf break we have only had 2 reported attacks since 1911, so it's obviously pretty rare around here.

Man, I picked a great week to leave town.

Although it's the fourth attack of the year, it's the first shark attack at Bellows since 1958.
