Older folks and s.e.x.

I'm sure this post will be removed, but I thought the following was imporant (and reality) to us "senior citizens"...

A shock tactic gone too far? New ad features senior citizens simulating sex positions to promote use of condoms | Mail Online

Heck, DW/me know some folks in the "Villages" (of Florida). It's good to know that they are tuned into "safe sex"....

Heck, senior sex is part of life and physical health. I'm just showing what is provided as "public information".

If it (senior sex) offends you, just ignore me, or the thread (or both) ...

I wasn't offended (although I was amused) and don't see what's the big deal. The models are fully clothed. Besides, all sexual positions are basically ridiculous-looking, no matter the age of the models. That's why you have sex in private, or so I always thought

OTOH - if you've lived as long as those models, wouldn't you already know about safe sex? and if you've forgotten everything you learned the first time around, you have bigger problems than STDs!

Most of the 'models', at least the women, probably weren't very sexually active before marriage. The pill wasn't available for my generation until we were in our mid-20 and condoms were for pregnancy prevention. STDs didn't really cross our mind. Then through marriage rarely strayed. Once widowed ... a different world.

After looking at that article, IMO breaking a bone would be more of a concern than STDs....

I've often wondered (and worried) about what today's hot young models had to look forward to after turning 30.....Now I feel better...

I sent a link to that article to a couple friends in the 70+ age group. Lots of giggles.

To those who mentioned above that the OP's post is breaking the community rules : sex is a perfectly normal human function. It does confer many measurable physiological advantages. I do hope all the seniors among us on this website are sexually satisfied and are keeping safe. Take care.

Under the advice of her physician, my wife was on Premarin for about 10 years. It spared her some of the symptoms of the change of life, but I was concerned about the increased incidence of problems like breast cancer. After 10 years, she discontinued the Premarin. Within 1 year of her discontinuance, I found the adverts for the purple pill to be 'amusing' for faithful men married to post-menopausal women
