My wife and I were self employed before ER so we pay for our own health insurance and have chosen not to pay the high premiums for coverage of prescription drugs. My wife had cancer a few years back and requires on-going medication that we have been buying through an online Canadian pharmacy for over a year for half the price of buying them in the US. Recently though we’ve had problems getting the orders on time and the customer service kind of sucks, so we’re looking for recommendations from anyone that has had a good experience with an online Canadian pharmacy.

I’m not looking for a discussion on the morals or safety of ordering drugs from Canada. I just would like to here from anyone that’s had experience, good or bad, with a Canadian pharmacy.

Thanks

City employees in Montgomery, Al have a health insurance option of getting their drugs from Canada.

More cities, states opt for Canadian drugs
By Julie Appleby, USA TODAY
For a year, the city of Montgomery, Ala., has been quietly saving money on its employees' health insurance costs — with a little help from Canada.

Although New Hampshire, Boston and Springfield, Mass., have grabbed headlines over programs aimed at helping residents purchase drugs from Canada, Montgomery beat them all.

Not giving an opinion either way, just passing this on. The mayor has been asked by legislators to end this but so far nothing has changed.

This from USA Today in 03.

For more than a year now, the article points out, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has been confiscating packages of prescription drugs ordered by American citizens most of them elderly from drugstores in Canada.

We're aware of the confiscation of prescription drugs by HS but that doesn't seem to be causing our delays. If one of our orders is late and we call them they will "expedite" the shipment and we'll get it in a week or so. I think our delays are caused by just plain old bad service.

Of course, HS could get our number at any time and then we’ll have to start driving to Canada, only a 2 hour drive for us.

I've been using canadapharmacy.com for 6 or so months now, with nothing but favorable results. They get me my oxycontin viagra generic zyrtec at an attractive price and minimal hassle.
