Poll #1 Early retirees and your Marriage

Hi all,
Would love to poll early retirees on three questions regarding lifestyle improvements/deterioration following early retirement. Thanks If anyone has suggestions for making the poll better reflect their situation, pls let me know. Thx

Surprisingly my wife thinks our marriage is much stronger too!

I think she just enjoys the security of knowing that it's not her turn to fix dinner...

Re: Poll #1 Early retirees and your Marriage

Good topic! I was single for 3 years before I met and married my second wife. I was really never single (as an adult) before.
The first time I married at age 20. That lasted 32 years. Long time.
My current marriage is nothing like my first which might seem like a
big adjustment for me. Wasn't really. But, I know I am a control
freak and will not change. Thus anyone living with me has to
be willing to adjust. That's just the way it is.
